QUESTAR BOARD ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONS

SALT LAKE CITY — The board of directors of Questar Corp. (NYSE:STR) today announced executive promotions in the Questar Regulated Services (QRS) subsidiary and in the corporate organization.

Named as senior vice presidents for Questar Regulated Services were Susan Glasmann and Alan Allred. Glasmann was vice president, operations, and Allred was vice president, business development.

QRS comprises Questar Gas Co., a retail gas-distribution utility, Questar Pipeline Co., an interstate gas transmission and storage company, Questar Energy Services, a marketer of retail energy products and services, and Questar Regulated Services, a holding company that provides shared administrative services for the group.

On the Questar corporate level, Brent L. Adamson was appointed to the position of vice president, ethics, compliance and audit. He previously served as director of auditing and compliance officer.

Questar is a $2.9 billion diversified natural gas company headquartered in Salt Lake City. Through subsidiaries, it engages in energy development and production; gas gathering and processing; wholesale gas, electricity and liquids trading; retail energy services; interstate gas transmission and storage; retail gas distribution; and information systems and technologies.
